National Science and Technology Week-Exploring the Invisible World with the Shadow
In order to respond to the national science popularization work deployment, strengthen the national science popularization capacity building and establish the social fashion of loving science and advocating science, the youth light science popularization base of the China Instrumentation Society-Rui Guang Kaiqi (Zhenjiang) Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. (Rui Guang Kaiqi) held two popular science activities of "exploring the invisible world with grain shadow.
the first popular science activity, Rui Guang Kaiqi cooperated with Zhenjiang Science and Technology Association to carry out simultaneously during the Science and Technology Festival of Zhenjiang Foreign language School.
Zhenjiang Foreign Language School was established in June 2003. It is a full-time junior high school with more than 3000 teachers and students.the number of students participating in the popular science activities reached more than 1000 and were divided into five groups.because of the large number of participants, the activity was held in the indoor gymnasium:
the sharp light Cage showed the schlieren system to the students. Although there is no stable, large-size optical workbench in the gymnasium, popular science propagandists overcame difficulties to build a system on the ground, debugged a very good display effect, and the phenomenon displayed aroused the curiosity of many students.
, many students were very surprised by the intuitive display of the invisible airflow in front of them, and they came to ask how to do it. There are also many students eager to take part in the experiment and feel the wonderful experience brought by the grain shadow.
